Exciting News: FC Regina's Inaugural GKU Varsity ID Camp Announcement!
We are thrilled to share a significant milestone for FC Regina—the launch of our inaugural GKU Varsity ID Camp, a first-of-its-kind opportunity for aspiring U13-U19 goalkeepers looking to elevate their soccer careers!
Scheduled for January 3-5, 2025, this groundbreaking event will take place at the Queensbury Convention Centre and the AffinityPlex. Over three days, participants will engage in an immersive experience that combines classroom sessions and on-field training, led by a stellar lineup of USports coaches and elite guest instructors, including:
- Paolo Ceccarelli - Canada’s Mens National Goalkeeping Coach, TFC Academy, Global Goalkeeping Innovations
- Mark Haynes - Western University and London Elite Goalkeeping
- Michael Neptune - Waterloo University
- Harry Butler - University of British Columbia Okanagan
- Mack Roche - Summit Goalkeeping, Calgary
- Local Alumni:
- Jaron Slopinski - University of Saskatchewan
- Allyson Ford - University of British Columbia Okanagan
- Kareena Andersen - University of Regina
- Stefan Vrska - Medicine Hat College

- Off-Field Sessions:
Held in a classroom setting, these sessions will give participants an exclusive look into post-secondary athletics. Coaches will discuss essential topics such as recruiting processes, academic balance, athletic discipline, and career pathways. - On-Field Training:
Athletes will work closely with USports and guest coaches to refine their skills, enhance endurance, and master techniques essential for standing out at the collegiate level.
