In a heartwarming display of global generosity, FC Regina has stepped up to support the Collin Nyabadza Children’s Voice Charitable Trust (CNCVCT) in Zimbabwe by donating soccer jerseys to underprivileged children. The CNCVCT, founded in 2012, focuses on enhancing the quality of education in some of Zimbabwe’s poorest rural schools.

The donation comes at a critical time as the charity aims to provide proper resources to these schools, including sports infrastructure and equipment such as soccer fields and uniforms. Many of the schools supported by the CNCVCT lack basic amenities, with students often having to play without proper uniforms.

Mr. Collin Nyabadza, founder of the CNCVCT, expressed his gratitude for the donation, emphasizing the significance of sports in combating challenges faced by Zimbabwean youth. "We are using the power of football and sports, in general, to help combat substance abuse among the youth," Mr. Nyabadza stated. "The donation of soccer jerseys by FC Regina will not only provide the children with much-needed equipment but also instill a sense of pride and belonging."

The initiative to provide soccer uniforms is part of a broader effort to address social issues affecting Zimbabwean youth, including the rise in substance abuse due to economic challenges.
