With the recent update from the Saskatchewan Government on Self-Isolation, Close Contact Protocols.
Twelve years and older will still need to provide proof of vaccination or a negative PCR test as per current Government Mandate. Rapid tests can also be done at the facility in front of facility staff each time you attend. You are to bring your own rapid test.
Masking Mandate is also still in effect:
FC Regina enforces a strict masking policy. Masks must be worn properly (covering both nose and mouth) the entire time you are inside the AffinityPlex. The only exception to this is players on the field who are actively participating. This includes substitute players on the bench who are not on the field of play. If you are not adhering to this policy, you will be asked to leave immediately.
All individuals should be self-monitoring, self-testing, and self-managing to help prevent transmission.
NEW GOVERNMENT UPDATE:
Effective this Friday, January 28, residents who receive a positive test result on a PCR or rapid antigen test will be required to self-isolate for five days, regardless of vaccination status. You are required to self-isolate for five days from the date of test or 24 hours after fever has resolved without the aid of fever-reducing medications and all other symptoms have been improving for at least 48 hours, whichever is later. Previously, unvaccinated residents who had tested positive were required to self-isolate for 10 days.
Close contacts of positive COVID-19 cases will no longer be required to self-isolate, regardless of vaccination status.
If you are a close contact to a confirmed COVID-19 case, you should self-monitor for symptoms and continue to use publicly available rapid antigen tests for asymptomatic surveillance.
If you are currently self-isolating for 10 days because you are an unvaccinated confirmed case or a close contact of a case, you may be able to amend your self-isolation period as of noon, January 28, in accordance with this policyif asymptomatic. If you are symptomatic, you must continue to self-isolate until your symptoms resolve.
